This Cookie Policy explains how Meld Management Limited ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at http://www.meldsignal.com and in the MeldSignal application at app.meldsignal.com (together, the "Services"). It should be read together with our Privacy Notice, which describes how we handle personal information generally.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep you signed in, and, on many sites, to track and profile visitors. This policy explains which of those things happen here.

Do we set cookies?

No. We do not set any cookies, web beacons, or tracking pixels from our own code. We do not use third-party analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to serve advertising through our Services. We do not track your interests or build profiles of your browsing.

Because we set no cookies that require consent, the Services do not show a cookie consent banner and there is no cookie preference centre. There is nothing to opt in or out of.

Strictly necessary cookies from our infrastructure

The parties that operate our infrastructure may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies of their own: our website is published with Framer, and the MeldSignal application is hosted by Render and served through Cloudflare, our DNS and edge security provider. Cookies of this kind exist for connection routing, load balancing, security, and bot protection. They are required for the Services to function securely, they are not used to track you across other websites for our benefit, and they are exempt from consent requirements under PECR and the GDPR ePrivacy rules.

Browser storage

The MeldSignal application uses your browser's localStorage to keep you signed in between visits. This is similar in function to a cookie but is governed by your browser's storage controls; you can clear it at any time through your browser's privacy settings. Clearing it signs you out.

Email

Our transactional emails (for example, a notification that your report is ready) are sent through Postmark, our email service provider, and include a standard delivery-tracking element that records opens, clicks, bounces, and delivery events. We use this information to verify deliverability and diagnose failed sends, never for marketing analytics. We do not send marketing email campaigns measured by tracking pixels.

How can you control cookies?

You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies at any time; your browser's help menu explains how. Because the only cookies present are strictly necessary ones set by our infrastructure providers, refusing them may impair sign-in or the security features of the Services, and there is no tracking to opt out of beyond that.

How often will we update this Cookie Policy?

We will update this policy as needed to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date at the top indicates when it was last updated.
